back to the day

sherku: after networking

Half moon in
A wispy shawl
Next to stacked
Clouds putting on
Quite a light show

This was composed after the New Prosperity Initiative's Social Changeup4, while driving home heading due west on the MA Turnpike into and then under this scene.

sherku: fetal position

Police found
The two bodies
In a fetal
Position facing
Each other

This is a 'found' poem. The text was contained in the news article picked up by the Boston Globe about an elderly couple who were found dead in their Florida home. The elevator had been stuck between floors.

sherku: creativity

In the space
between
anxiety
and boredom
creativity
flourished

This is a 'found' poem. I found and slightly manipulated the text to fit the sherku format. The original text can be found in the Newsweek article here: http://www.newsweek.com/2010/07/10/the-creativity-crisis.html

sherku: house rules

The fact that
you do worry
about being
a good mom
means that
you are one

A 'found' sherku. The text was found in Jodi Picoult's House Rules and modified to become a sherku.
